Corporate Design Agency Frankfurt - Brand Identity for Mid-Market and B2B

mindmelt is a corporate design agency based in Frankfurt, building brand identities for mid-market and B2B businesses - from logo and stationery through to a full corporate design manual. Want a corporate design that does more than look good on a business card? At mindmelt, corporate design isn't a standalone project. It's part of an integrated strategy covering brand, web and communications. Owner-managed since 2002 by Ingo Krumm.

mindmelt - Corporate Design Agency in Frankfurt since 2002

We build corporate design systems for mid-sized B2B companies across the Rhein-Main region. Logo, stationery, style guide, digital applications - one team, from brief to launch. Not a design studio that hands over pretty logos and walks away. An agency that knows how brand identity works in practice: in sales, on the web, across every touchpoint.

Over 200 projects delivered since 2002. Owner-managed by Ingo Krumm, with a core team at Zeil 46, Frankfurt.

Corporate Identity and Corporate Design - what's the difference

Corporate identity is who you are. Corporate design is how you look. Your CI covers your values, positioning and the principles that drive your business. Your CD brings that identity to life - in your logo, colours, typography, imagery and branded materials.

At mindmelt, every project starts with identity. What does your business stand for? Who are your customers? What sets you apart from competitors? We only start designing once we have clear answers. That's what corporate design consultancy means to us.

From logo to brand - building brand identity for the Mittelstand

We develop brand identities for businesses in the Rhein-Main region that want to be recognised beyond it. Identities that work on the trade show floor, on LinkedIn, on your website and on a business card. Not interchangeable. Not trend-driven. Built to fit your business and your customers.

Our Approach

Corporate design isn't decoration. It's your business strategy made visible.

We don't design logos that look good in a vacuum. We build brand identities that do their job - in a sales meeting, on the exhibition floor, and across your website. The measure isn't a design award. It's whether your clients recognise you.

What's included in a corporate design?

A mindmelt corporate design covers every visual element that represents your business to the outside world. In practice, that means:

Logo and brand mark. The foundation of your identity. We design logos that work equally well on business cards and 18-metre exhibition stands. Vector-based, scalable across every size and medium.

Colour system and typography. Primary and secondary colours with defined values for print (CMYK, Pantone) and digital (RGB, HEX). Typefaces for headlines and body text - licensed and fully documented.

Stationery and templates. Business cards, letterheads, invoice templates, email signatures, presentation templates. One consistent system your team can use independently.

Style guide. The definitive reference for your corporate design. It covers logo usage, spacing, colours, and visual language - so everyone knows exactly how the brand should look, long after the project is complete.

How a corporate design project works at mindmelt

Four phases. One point of contact. From the first workshop to a finished style guide.

01

Positioning and Analysis

A working session with senior leadership. Who you are, who your clients are, what sets you apart. Competitive analysis, sector context, audience personas. Duration: one week.

02

Concept Directions and Logo

Three to five design directions, each with a clear rationale. Colour palettes, typography approaches, visual language. Iterative reviews until we land on the right direction. Logo development including variants. Duration: 2-3 weeks.

03

Business Stationery

Business cards, letterheads, invoice templates, email signatures, PowerPoint masters. Print-ready and digital. Your team can start using everything straight away. Timeline: 2 weeks.

04

Corporate Design Manual and Handover

Every rule in one document - the Corporate Design Manual: logo usage, colours, typography, imagery, dos and don'ts. All files in all formats. After handover, anyone in your business can apply the brand correctly. Duration: 1 week.

Logo and Brand Mark - the Core of Your Identity

Your logo is the first thing people see and the last thing they forget. At mindmelt, we don't design in a vacuum. We analyse your market, your competitors and your audience before a single concept hits the page.

What you get: 3 to 5 concept directions, each documented with a clear rationale. Then we iterate until it's right. Final deliverables include vector files in all formats (AI, EPS, SVG, PNG), colour definitions for both print and digital, plus a defined exclusion zone and minimum size.

What we don't do: logo competitions, £50 design platform submissions or crowdsourcing. A logo that needs to carry your brand for the next 10 years takes more than two hours to get right.

"Business cards, website, everything finally consistent. Our clients and partners see us completely differently now. The whole brand feels far more professional."

CD Case Study: Ingenieurbüro Rhein-Main

Rather than showing generic corporate design examples, here's what we actually delivered for a client.

The brief: A 35-person engineering consultancy specialising in building services. Logo dating from 1998, no consistent brand materials. Every employee running their own PowerPoint templates. At trade shows, they looked like three different companies sharing a stand.

What we did: Positioning workshop. New logo and brand mark. Full colour system - two primary, three secondary colours. Typography framework. Stationery suite: business cards, letterhead design, PowerPoint master, email signatures. A 40-page corporate design manual as PDF. Trade show stand design.

The result: A consistent presence across every touchpoint. Staff adopted the templates immediately and use them independently. At the next ISH trade show, they came across as a single, cohesive business for the first time. Applications up 30 per cent within six months - the new identity is making a real difference in a competitive recruitment market.

Project duration: 8 weeks.

Why mid-sized businesses choose mindmelt for their corporate design

Four reasons we're different from design studios and freelancers.

Strategy before design

No logo without a positioning workshop first. We establish who you are and who you're trying to reach - then we design. That cuts revision rounds and delivers a brand identity that fits your business, not a designer's personal taste.

One Team, Start to Finish

Most corporate design agencies split design and web into separate workstreams. At mindmelt, logo, stationery, brand guidelines and website are all handled by one team. No handover between design studio and web agency. No lost-in-translation moments. Faster delivery, lower cost, fewer headaches.

Owner-led. No revolving door.

Your CD project won't be handed down to a junior. The owner runs the workshop, develops the concepts and presents the work. At mindmelt, you know exactly who's shaping your brand.

You own everything

When the project wraps, you get the lot: vector files, colour definitions, font licences, print-ready artwork, style guide PDF. No subscription, no licence fees, no dependency. Change agency, bring it in-house, work with whoever you like - it's yours.

Corporate design at mindmelt starts from £1,900 net. Logo Only from £1,900 - three concepts, finished artwork, all file formats. Starter package with logo, business card and letterhead from £3,900. Full corporate design including complete stationery and style guide from £7,900. All prices fixed.

4 to 10 weeks. A logo with basic stationery: 4 to 6 weeks. A full corporate identity with style guide: 8 to 10 weeks. Timeline depends on how quickly you give feedback and whether a positioning workshop is included upfront.

Everything. Logo files in every format (AI, EPS, SVG, PNG, PDF), colour definitions, font licences, print-ready artwork, style guide PDF. Once the project's done, it's all yours. No subscription. No licence fees. No dependency.

A redesign makes sense when your logo is over ten years old, your business has changed direction, or your visual identity no longer reflects where you sit in the market. We start with an honest assessment - sometimes an evolution is all you need, not a complete overhaul.

Yes. Most of our CD projects are redesigns of existing brands. We assess what's working, identify what isn't, and evolve the design rather than starting from scratch. That keeps costs down and preserves recognition with your existing customers.

Mid-sized businesses with 20 to 500 employees across the Rhine-Main region. Companies looking to grow or reposition. Service providers, manufacturers, technology firms, consultancies. And founders who want to build credibility from day one.
