Mehr über unsmindmelt is an agency for public transport operators and mobility providers - corporate design, web design and campaign communications for transport networks that need to reach complex audiences.
mindmelt creates corporate design, websites and campaigns for public transport. Our clients include transport associations, operators and mobility providers - among them rms GmbH (an RMV subsidiary) and Mobility inside. Owner-managed, with direct access to senior leadership, based in the Rhine-Main region since 2002.
Public Transport Communications from the Rhine-Main Region
The Rhine-Main region is one of Europe's largest integrated transport networks. mindmelt is based right at its centre - in Frankfurt am Main, five minutes' walk from the main station. That proximity shapes everything we do. We understand how decision-making works inside municipal organisations, know what accessible communications requires, and are well-versed in public procurement.
Public transport marketing wins passengers through practical, everyday benefits: less congestion, no parking costs, time reclaimed on the move. mindmelt turns those benefits into communications that speak directly to each audience - from commuters and students to older travellers. Different groups need different messages and different channels. We identify which audiences hold the greatest potential, then build the content strategies and social media campaigns to reach them.
Dedicated support for complex projects
Public transport communication plays by its own rules. Students need a different approach from daily commuters. Senior passengers want different formats from digital natives. Fare changes have to be clear. Disruption updates have to be fast. mindmelt identifies which audiences offer the greatest potential for your operation, then builds targeted activity around them.
Every public transport project is managed personally by the senior team - from first conversation to final delivery. Fast decisions, named contacts, and hands-on experience with local authority structures.

About mindmelt
mindmelt is an owner-managed agency based in Frankfurt am Main, Zeil 46. We build strategy, design and digital visibility for mid-market and B2B clients - since 2002, across more than 200 projects. Owner: Ingo Krumm.
Public transport operators tend to communicate inward far more than outward. Yet public perception and trust are what determine acceptance.
You'll speak directly with the person who knows your project and works on it - not someone who manages it from a distance.

mindmelt knows public transport from the inside. We've worked closely with the RMV environment and use that expertise to develop corporate design, websites, and campaigns that attract passengers and build lasting brands.

Mehr über unsThe Deutschlandticket brought in a record wave of first-time customers - and most transport operators missed the window to support them through those critical early weeks. New riders make mistakes. Wrong connections, missed interchanges, unexpected service gaps. Those bad first experiences send people straight back to their cars. A structured onboarding programme for new modal switchers - route guidance, first-trip support, community resources across the first 90 days - is what turns a ticket purchase into a lasting behaviour change. Most operators have a marketing budget. Almost none have an onboarding process. That's money wasted.
The 'average car vs. average bus' comparison that gets cited so often badly underestimates the climate benefits of electric rail - and overstates those of an ageing diesel bus. A single CO2 figure for an entire network is either imprecise or misleading. Credible climate communication requires route-level data: updated annually, in a format journalists and regulators can verify. Operators who rely on aggregated averages are leaving themselves exposed - especially now that climate reporting in the media has become far more exacting. The data is what makes or breaks the message.
